Pitching rules Coaches are responsible for protecting their kids arms. We will not go by pitch count, we will go by innings pitched.
Extra inning rules No extra innings in pool play, the game ends in a tie.
In bracket play, we start with a runner on 2nd base with no outs. Last batted out is the runner.
Bat rules 8u-13u-USSSA
14u-HS: All bats must be bbcor or wood
8u specific rules No Stealing 6 pitches (3 strikes) Bunts are allowed No Infield fly rule 7 run max per inning Time is called once the runners are STOPPED
9u MODIFIED base specific Rules No Dropped 3rd Strike Runners may advance when ball crosses home plate No Infield fly rule
Batting Lineup Teams can bat however many players they would like as long as it meets the minimum requiremEnt for that age. Free defensive SUBSTITUTIONS. Players can rotate in freely to non-pitching positions
MISC Rules Steel Spikes are allowed in 12u and older. But if caught on a portable mound, the PITCHER will be removed and NOT ALLOWED TO pitch the remainder of that GAME. He can play other positions.
3rd to 1st rule is legal
No Slash bunting in Any age groups. If a batter shows bunt than swings he will be OUT no matter if he makes contact or not.
